Concept Co. makes Milwaukee home

Concept Co. Makes Milwaukee Home

Exciting news everyone! Concept Co. has relocated to downtown Milwaukee.

We are now at a new mixed-use development located along the Milwaukee River at the former Laacke & Joys site at 1433 N Water St. This decision was driven by our desire for a fresh approach to coworking and collaboration.

And we aren’t the only ones who are seeing the value of both collaborative work spaces and downtown Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Business News — Biz Times — recently published an article titled, “Want Talent? Where’s Your Office?”, where they make the argument that moving downtown allows companies to attract and retain the best talent. We know we love the vibrancy of the city with its restaurants, sports venues, proximity to the historic Third Ward and the Milwaukee Public Market…not to mention the easy transportation. There’s no denying that downtown Milwaukee is exciting. The companies who have recently or will soon be making their home in our new neighborhood are Rexnord, GRAEF-USA, Jacobs Engineering Group, WageWorks, and Bader Rutter.

In addition to being able to work alongside the best talent in the Milwaukee area, our new location is an inspiring place to work, with open spaces and views of the Milwaukee river and downtown. Our founder, Zach Beaman says, “Spaces Milwaukee rocks! The culture they have built here is incredible. From the amazing office amenities to the beautiful views of the Milwaukee cityscape, this place breeds energy. My team and I are excited to come into work everyday and that makes a difference for our business when we are incredibly busy and always looking for ways to stay inspired!”

Last but not least, our new digs allow us to be at the forefront of a new trend among companies who choose to do business from coworking spaces. In an HBR article earlier this year, the magazine made note of this change in attitude. “Since the first coworking space appeared in 2005, over 14,000 have opened around the world. While the earlier generation sought to provide independent workers with resources and support that couldn’t be found at home, coffee shops, or other nomadic locations, today’s spaces have evolved into businesses that also support the needs of large organizations.

At Concept Co., we couldn’t agree more. We are looking forward to the higher levels of thriving and productivity that we know will come from this move. Our new address is 1433 N Water St, Suite 400, Milwaukee, WI 53202. The next time you are in the area, please stop by and say hello.
